Mr. Bhagwant Behari Mathur
Mr. Bhagwant Behari Mathur is the founding partner of B.B. Mathur & Co. A pioneer in taxation and consulting services, he has played a defining role in shaping the firm’s legacy and the profession at large. With over 60 years of experience, he is widely respected for his expertise in tax planning, client representation, and strategic business advisory.
Many of Mr. Mathur’s client relationships span generations, a testament to the trust, integrity, and long-term value he consistently delivers. His counsel has supported businesses through critical decisions, growth phases, and complex regulatory landscapes.
Mr. Mathur continues to be actively involved with clients, guided by his belief that exceptional service means exceeding expectations at every stage. His enduring leadership and client-first philosophy remain the cornerstone of BBMCO’s identity.
He is a Senior Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Mr. Rajneesh Behari Mathur
Mr. Rajneesh Behari Mathur is a Senior Partner at B.B. Mathur & Co., with over 35 years of experience in the profession. He specializes in direct taxation, audit, and regulatory compliance, and is known for his sharp analytical thinking and commitment to client success.
Under his leadership, BBMCO has expanded into a multidisciplinary firm serving a wide range of industries. His consulting-led mindset has been instrumental in helping businesses develop growth strategies, financial structures, and governance frameworks tailored to evolving market dynamics.
Mr. Mathur has played a key role in enabling clients to expand operations both within India and globally. His ability to align financial advisory with business strategy makes him a trusted advisor to many long-standing clients.
He continues to lead with foresight, blending technical depth with practical insight.
He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Commerce graduate from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
Mr. Akshay Mathur
Mr. Akshay Mathur is a Partner at B.B. Mathur & Co., leading the firm’s Indirect Taxation and Consulting practice. Since joining in 2017, he has brought a forward-looking, technology-driven approach to advisory, focusing on automation, efficiency, and strategic insight for clients across industries.
A tech enthusiast with a strong consulting mindset, he has led projects in process transformation, MIS setup, payroll management, and cost optimization. He played a key role in BBMCO’s international expansion to the Netherlands, marking a significant step in the firm’s global growth.
Prior to BBMCO, Mr. Mathur worked with S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP (Ernst & Young Global) in statutory audit, serving one of the world’s largest telecom companies.
He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Commerce graduate from Delhi University. Mr. Mathur represents the firm’s next-generation leadership, blending technical expertise with innovation.
Mr. Aman Mathur
Mr. Aman Mathur is a Partner at B.B. Mathur & Co., where he leads the firm’s Startup Advisory, Strategic Growth and India Entry Practice. With a deep understanding of finance, compliance, and the evolving global entrepreneurial landscape, he enables early-stage ventures and established businesses to align financial strategy with scalable growth.
Mr. Mathur brings over seven years of diverse experience spanning statutory audit, financial advisory, and startup ecosystem development. Prior to joining BBMCO, he served as a Manager at Startup India, where he played a pivotal role in the ₹945 crore Startup India Seed Fund Scheme, overseeing funding operations, due diligence, and policy implementation for over 200 incubators and 1,000 startups across India along with policy advocacy and drafting focused on the startup ecosystem in the country.
At BBMCO, he advises clients on entity structuring, regulatory readiness, financial modelling, valuations, fundraising strategy, and compliance design, helping businesses navigate from incorporation to investor due diligence. He also leads the firm’s India Entry and FEMA focused advisory vertical for returning NRIs and foreign founders.
As a Chartered Accountant and a Commerce graduate from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, Mr. Mathur combines technical expertise with a startup-first mindset, representing the firm’s vision of agile, insightful, and impact-driven advisory.
